Book Sale! “Sanctuary”

Sanctuary

From March 12 to March 18, “Sanctuary” will be on sale for $1.99! Here’s the blurb:

“After the Waking when magick and witches were revealed to the world, Makayla has made it her personal mission to help young witches who have no place to go. She thought she’d found the perfect house but an old, malevolent force is trying to keep her away. This is a clean lesbian, age gap romance with powerful witches.”

This was a NaNoWriMo project that I had a ton of fun working on it. Click the link above to grab this at the sale price!

It’s funny because it’s true! Also, it’s not funny because it’s true. I tend to have so many different projects going at once, I seem to never make any progress at anything because my attention is divided too many ways

So, here’s what I’m gonna do.

Winter Boot will be the first thing I finish. I’m sure there was just a chorus of groans from people who wish to hang me up by my thumbs if I don’t get the next First Brood book out yesterday but I would like to continue my Fiction Fridays and I can’t do that till Winter Boot is done. After that, I have two short stories; “Fylgia” and “Old Soldier” that will need to be finished and posted for sale. Then I will move on to the editing for Greenhouse and the writing of my Go Away Girls steampunk lesbian novel. I can’t keep jumping from project to project (a lot of the time within the same DAY) and expect to get ANY work out for you guys to enjoy

Wish me luck because I am crap at focusing. It’s also why I have three knitting and crochet projects in the works as well…

But that’s for another entry. XD

In life news, I will be getting my car back in about 4 weeks and I’m back to working out with only the slightest twinge of soreness in my back. Between the treadmill and the elevator still broken at work, my le muscles re very confused. But I feel so much better now that I’m able to move around. I DESPISE being immobile. >_<

So, there you have it, folks! Lenni is healed up and has a plan to get as much writing into your greedy hands as possible! 😀 Are you excited? I sure am. 😉

Cleaning up and cleaning out

I’m sure you’ll all be sick of posts about Sandy but yes, since Lenni lives on the East Coast, I’m still cleaning up from the storm. We lost a bunch of food and were in the dark for a couple days but we are lucky to be back up and running right now. The worst that happened to me personally was a tree branch landed on the top of my car and dented it a little. I have pictures but…

I know not much went wrong by me but I’m still in a sate of shock. I have had very dear friends of mine lose EVERYTHING and the library where I work will be closed indefinitely. I don’t sleep too well and I’ve been tired and depressed. Every time I venture out for food, I see gas lines for miles, tress on people’s houses, and the persistent hum of those lucky enough to have a generator.

Without my job, I feel like I have no purpose. But I’m making the best use of my time by cleaning out clutter from the house and writing as much as I can. It’s not even about the short story experiment anymore or the blog project or anything like that. Aside for filing for unemployment, I need to have some other money coming in till I can get my job back.

It’ll be a long time before we can get back to normal but it’ll happen.

Stay safe every one and I hope you are well.

Writer Wednesday – A Writing Update

Ahh, it’s such a relief to not have to sit and worry about that driving test anymore. I’m also back to working out so things are really coming together. 🙂

For a little bit, I’ve put Gods in the Grey City up for free for Prime members over on Kindle. For how long? I have no idea. It was random for me to decide to do this in the first place.

I have resumed editing of Greenhouse (the follow up to Dreamhunter) and I’m saving the short stories for next month where I once again attempt my personal Short Story Experiment 2012! 😀 The deal with that is to just finish as many short stories as I can within the month of November. Typed or written, doesn’t matter. I just wanna see if I can finish a bunch of stories given the proper motivation. ;D

That’s about all I’ve got today. Remember; if you’ve read or liked my work, please leave a review. I’ll post a bunch of comic con stuff when I get the pictures organized. 😉
