Manuscript Update!
Dreamhunter and Greenhouse have been updated! I had to email Amazon to allow people to have already purchased the book to receive the new copies but unfortunately, they deemed the changes too minor to send an email out to the customers. So, I’m doing it!
Here are some instructions on how to update a kindle book yourself. The changes I’ve made are mostly grammar and spelling errors, with some more detailed descriptions added in but nothing that changes the plot too much. But I’m glad they’re all fixed up. So, update if you wish or grab a fresh copy today! 😀

Writing Update
As of right now, I’m about halfway to my goal of 5 pages a day. Not bad at all I must say! 😀
The pages go as follows:
- 1.5 pages in Winter Boot
- 1 page Lost Brother
And I’ve made a significant dent in my read through of Flowers in the Attic as I am preparing another book vs movie comparison for the new special airing on the 18th. I remember watching the original as a kid and it was one of those childhood moments where you’re a little pissed at your parents for letting you watch it because it’s a bit scarring.
And the day’s not done yet! 😀 I plan to do as much as I can.
Writer Wednesday – First Brood Update
Despite being distracted by the con, book 2 is progressing. I am glad to take this extra time with it because I found some impressively GLARING typos I somehow managed to miss the first 5 times I went through the manuscript. But progress is being made. Look forward to seeing it before the end of the year for sure. 🙂
When it comes to the various other short stories I have been juggling, I am just picking away at them line by line when I have time. I would be working on them more but… Yeah, I dunno. Shiny objects?
Seriously, I’ve been getting more books to review (expect another installment of the Walking Dead novels…) so those take up a lot of my time. I don’t consider it a waste at all (the fact that publishers still offer up their work to me after reading the other reviews I’ve written just amazes me) because I get to read things I never would have ever picked up on my own. But, it’s time I’m not writing. Just a fact of life. I’m still trying to balance reading, writing, and the working single mom thing but I hear I’m pretty damn awesome. I’ll get the hang of it.
Writer Wednesday – Writing Update
Ah, yes. It has been too long since I’ve written an update for you guys so here’s what Lenni has been up to.
It’s still been a short story blitz for me these days with a little editing in between. I have learned that there will be no after camp program for my daughter this summer so after turning my schedule into absolute knots to make sure I can pick her up and drop her off, I am more motivated than ever to try and make more money for my writing. Not just to make more to pay down the mortgage early but to be able to afford to pay for a nanny or a bus service to make sure my daughter is in a safe place so I can work my regular hours.
I don’t know why the school district’s camp thinks other parents work like teachers and are off in the summer. It’s very annoying. T_T
But if I’m making more money with my books, I can afford to take leave without pay if I must to get my daughter to where she needs to be or hire someone to watch her. I dunno if anyone would like to donate to the cause of getting the hell outta debt as soon as humanly possible, links to all my books are here. More will be showing up as I finish them. As I’m sure you are aware, Fiction Friday was skipped last week. This was because I straight up lost the notebook Winter Boot is in. I found it. ^_^We should be getting back on track now.
