In order to keep Detective Uguisu from hurting them, Ko and Nazuna search for items important to Nazuna’s past which brings them to Kabura, who has a major piece of the puzzle.
There are some big revelations in this volume that I won’t spoil but it gives this series a unique take on vampires. There’s also some humor here with Midori and her geeky boyfriend looking for her item to keep her safe but I would have liked if we had more about Uguisu and her mission to destroy vampires. I just want to know this character better and I’m sure it will come to light but I’m impatient for it. This series has been pretty lighthearted so far and I can tell this character is going to make it darker. 3.9 out of 5.
