This graphic novel is the story of Princess Makeda who loses her father and must rise up and rule the kingdom in his stead.
This is VERY short. Only 48 pages. It’s like a book that would come with a DVD for kids to get introduced to this person. Even the art is reminiscent of stills from an animated show. This isn’t a bad thing, I just wish there was more. We don’t get to spend much time with these characters and they’re cool. I’d love to see a longer story with Makeda. 3.9 out of 5.
