*This book was given to me in exchange for an honest review.

In 16th century Japan, Ketsuko takes on the mantle of “Red Devil” after her father dies and her entire clan is killed.

While this is action packed with some cool fantasy elements in the story, I feel like it needed more room to grow. I like the comic overall but I don’t get the chance to get to know everybody or what exactly is the sword and what it’s doing to Ketsuko. I like the art style; it fits the story but there are some strange expressions here and there. This comic sprints to the ending with multiple twists but I wish there was more. It’s worth checking out if you’re looking for some samurai action. 3.7 out of 5.
