*This book was given to me in exchange for an honest review.

Kokoro is an outcast who ends up sucked into a fantasy world where she and some others are all searching for a key to a room that will grant them any wish. Kokoro finally has some friends in this magical place but their host, Ookami, is hiding something about the true nature of this place.

Ookami reminds me of this bastard:

(This fucker… and I guess spoilers for Puella Magi Madoka Magica)

While introducing the cast and rules of the new world, the emphasis of this volume is mainly on why Kokoro doesn’t like going to school. I will give this book credit for her parents being supportive. It would be so easy to make her parents terrible as well, like a lot of these stories do. As for now, not much effort is being put forth by the cast to find the key; it’s this group of outcasts just chilling. They’re not even that into getting that wish. They want real connections to others, which makes this pretty cozy so far. 4 out of 5.
