Cooking Light Selects Cravebox

Spices and snacks? You are so speaking my language.

First and foremost, I gave away the artificial sweetener. If I’m gonna eat sweets, I’m gonna use real sugar. I gave the fake stuff to people who need it because they CAN’T have real sugar.

I love the McCormick salt free seasonings. With BBQ season coming, that Southwest seasoning is gonna get a LOT of use. 🙂

I am familiar with Stash herbal tea. I keep packets in my desk for when the office is freezing but if I have one more cup of coffee, I’ll launch to the moon.

The Newtons I put in my daughter’s snack bag. I take their disappearance to mean they’re good. XD

The Zone bars I haven’t tried yet. I wager they taste like every other ‘health’ bar I eat. *shrugs* Nothing to really write home about.

As for the Pop Chips? Those were really good. They were just spicy enough to make them interesting and salty enough to satisfy the craving for salty/crunchy. I would totally buy those.

Bikini Ready Cravebox

I kinda figured this box would include some sort of diet book. Man, have I read a LOT of those and I’ve honestly found the best diet to be “don’t eat junk and move around more” so I probably won’t be using that. Other than the book, the rest seems pretty cool! Especially the Sally Hansen nail stickers. I am such a sucker for those. I love using those for accent nails.

The one thing I’m hesitant to try is GymPact. It SEEMS like a good idea but I don’t workout in a gym. I workout at home.  I don’t think “Home Gym” or “Zumba for the Wii” is a valid check in point for that app. XD

If I finally use any of this and remember, I’ll review the stuff. I’d rather not use the wax strips… 0.0 Owie…

This box is pretty cool. I LOVE whole wheat and veggie pasta. I’m one of those lucky parents who have a kid who loves vegetables but for those days where I’m too tired to make anything more complicated than a big pot of pasta and jar sauce, sneaking in extra veggies is awesome.

I’m not a big fan of soda in general, preferring water or unsweetened tea, but if I’m craving a sweet drink, the 7UP 10 isn’t half bad.

I’m not a fan of the BelVita cookies but they are PERFECT to give my little one for a snack. Same goes for the fruit bars up there in the corner. Throw ’em right in the lunch box for a no fuss healthy snack. ^_^

The rest I haven’t tried yet but I have the feeling the fudge pretzels will be good. Because, fudge. XD

That’s all I’ve got for today, kiddos! After spending yesterday shoveling snow, cleaning, and doing laundry, I am taking a lazy day for knitting and crochet. Later!

Holiday Spruce Up Crave Box and News

This was a cute little box but I an’t use the dishwasher stuff. I don’t own a dishwasher. XD One day when I can afford to redo the kitchen, I will absolutely get one.

Now… On to why I haven’t been posting. Long story shot, I’m getting divorced and I’m dealing with the emotional fallout from that. You’d be surprised how such an emotional roller coaster it is so I haven’t been writing. So, in the last year or so, I’ve lost my Ma, my library, and my marriage. I’d like some freaking kudos for not being blackout drunk right now much less producing any creative work. But I’m getting there…

Back To School Crave Box

I have to hand it to Crave Box. They were having such issues getting this box out to people that the CEO sent an email offering a refund. Now, I sorta understood the craziness in getting all these things out so I was just hanging back and waiting without complaining to the company. But even if I had to pay the $13, I would have gotten more than my money’s worth!

If you know me, you know my daughter is not getting her hands on those pens and pencils. XD But the rest? Just awesome.

I can see this coming in handy for everyone in the house. Retails for $5.99.

I’d never heard of this stuff before but it’s pretty cool. Retails for $12.99.

The cute little pack is nice and it is much easier than folding loose tissues for my daughter’s backpack. Retails for $3.99 for a multi pack.

I’ve also never heard of this company. I see no problem giving it a shot. Retails for $17.99.

Yeah, the kid’s not getting these. XD I will have way to much fun with them. Pencils retail for $5.79 and pens for $4.49.

Like any parent, I worry about my little demon seed getting enough nutrients. So these will ABSOLUTELY get used. Retails for $29.99.

And a couple of coupons. 🙂

Why add the prices for these? Keep in mind, without the refund, this box would have cost me $81.23 plus tax. I say this box was more than worth it. I mean… It came with PENS!! 😀 Gotta love that. 😉
