2013 goals

I had to think a lot about what I wanted from this year. Instead of resolutions, I have goals I would like to meet:

1: To recover from my divorce and be a happier and better person.

2: To write 4 pages every day.

3: Update the blog more often.

4: I’m trying the 100 Books in a Year challenge again.

There’s no way I’m gonna let the bad things that have happened to me get me down. I have to remember it’s not my fault, these things happen, and to move on with my head high.

Here’s to a good 2013. It better be good; I think I’m owed. T_T

Progress Update!

Hanging around and not going to work has left me a lot of time for writing and editing. I have been cleaning (the garbage men must think I’m crazy) but I am making some great headway on getting another story up for sale. 🙂

That’s pretty much all I’ve got for now. Cleaning, writing, editing… That’s just what life is right now.

I almost miss irate patrons… 😉

Got Gifted!

I was cruising the blogs I regularly read and happened upon a giveaway. And luckily, I won! 😀

I won a Kindle copy of this cute lookin book called Bell, Book, and Sandals by Melissa L. Webb. When I’ve read it, I’ll review it. 😉

Writer Wednesday – A Writing Update

Ahh, it’s such a relief to not have to sit and worry about that driving test anymore. I’m also back to working out so things are really coming together. 🙂

For a little bit, I’ve put Gods in the Grey City up for free for Prime members over on Kindle. For how long? I have no idea. It was random for me to decide to do this in the first place.

I have resumed editing of Greenhouse (the follow up to Dreamhunter) and I’m saving the short stories for next month where I once again attempt my personal Short Story Experiment 2012! 😀 The deal with that is to just finish as many short stories as I can within the month of November. Typed or written, doesn’t matter. I just wanna see if I can finish a bunch of stories given the proper motivation. ;D

That’s about all I’ve got today. Remember; if you’ve read or liked my work, please leave a review. I’ll post a bunch of comic con stuff when I get the pictures organized. 😉

I’m BACK! >D

After a semi-restful weekend (how restful is a birthday party for a 3 year old, really?) I have traced the headache problems to lack of sleep and lack of sleep to the snoring of my dear ole’ hubbz. Short of kicking him out to sleep on the couch, I’m not gonna sleep well with him in the bed till he sees a doctor or I smother him with a pillow. Whichever comes first.

In writing news, the two small stories I’m working on are moving along well, Dark Horse enjoyed my last review, and I’m excited to start my Short Story Project next month instead of doing NaNoWriMo. Edits for book two are proceeding slowly but steadily and I hope for the preview chapters to be going up on the site soon. As soon as I have them all perfect and pristine, they’ll start going up. 🙂 Are you excited? I sure am. I’ve been picking at book two for YEARS now!

That’s all I’ve got so far. Eventually I’ll catch up with the Pagan Blog thing but probably not this week with Comic Con right around the corner. I would like to get through the whole thing, ya know?

New Book Review Up!

Here’s the fruits of this weekend’s labors! My review of Jam by Yahtzee Croshaw.

Monday Writing Update

This was a very productive weekend. I was able to get started on an entry for an elf anthology and I was able to get the house in some sort of order so I wouldn’t be completely ashamed to have someone over. 0.0 Eventually, I would like to start Fiction Friday back up again but all things in their own time. I can’t put too much on my plate at once. I’ll end up spazzing and not finishing anything. >_<
Wish me luck today!
