This series follows four teenage boys as they find their way through romance and relationships in high school.

In this volume, we focus on Natsuki, who is hoping to spend Christmas Eve with his friends who all have girlfriends. This is very slice of life, light, and breezy with some laughs. Definitely a book that’s something to kick back for a relaxing read with a cast of characters that are all pretty likeable. I found myself rooting for them to be happy. The art is classic and expressive with some fun details. 3 out of 5.

While on a school trip to a ski resort, Ida finds out the back story of the eraser and the misunderstanding with the names. However, Aoki’s crush on Ida is very real and he gathers up the courage to confess to Ida properly this time.

I like how realistic things are here. People fumble about, misstep, and are awkward but trying their best. Nobody is catty or conniving (so far), they all just want to make a connection with the person they like. It’s meanders around a bit but it’s an enjoyable read. 4 out of 5.

In this manga we have a love quadrangle between outsider Taichi Ichinose, clumsy and shy girl Futaba Kuze, popular jock Toma Mita, and Kiza’s friend Masumi.

It’s interesting so far and I really enjoy how Ichinose and Kuza interact. You can see how feelings formed there on either side. If they end up together, it would be adorable but I have a feeling that things are going to get super complicated and messy. But I’m here for it; I want to know what happens next. 4 out of 5.

After her mother’s death, Aryn’s father moves her and her sister out to Connecticut. With a new school surrounded bu a bunch of rich snobs and also forced to help her father with his new catering business, Aryn isn’t having the easiest time fitting in. But the oddest kids in the school who keep mainly to themselves have taken an interest in her.

In this sadly rushed supernatural romance, the real star is the art. The blue and green color pallate is on point and I enjoy the art style. But we don’t get enough time here. It’s hard to suspend belief for the romance between Aryn and Adrian, the mythology can get clunky, then in a whirl it’s all over. Maybe there was a page limit? I was left with feeling of only hearing the backbone to a bigger story. Given more time, I think I’d rate it highter but I have to give it a 3 out of 5.
