No, I’m not turning this blog into a food blog but I’m proud of this so there.
I pulled a classic “I only came to the store for a few things” and ended up catching sight of the same type of garlic bread Ma used to buy. I figured it would pair nicely with the rib roast and baked veggies. There’s come tomatillo ‘salsa’ on top because I was cleaning out the fridge and found them. I totally forgot I bought them.
I put salsa in quotes because I just kinda chopped them up, threw them in some lime juice, and mixed in some of the garlic cloves I’d shoved under the roast. As you can see, I have a very detailed method of “put stuff on the thing till it tastes good.”
I don’t have a recipe. I put the herbs on the meat, then the meat in the oven for a few hours on low heat. I like to slow cook things in the oven during the winter. It just makes me feel all cozy and comfortable, and I have meals for days. I like to have the leftovers so I spend less time cooking, jump right into my workouts, and have more time to write.
