In order to help Komi reach her goal of making 100 friends, Najimi holds a ‘singles meet’ of other girls at the school to get them talking to Komi and add them to her growing circle.
It’s nice to see Komi’s friend group expand further. The series seemed to forget that was the goal for a minute but this volume has Komi reaching out to other kids in hopes of making a connection. There’s a wide range of personalities here and not all of them are likable but Komi does her best. And we get more of Tadano and how he sees everyone around him. I didn’t think I’d enjoy that part, but it was pretty cool! 4 out of 5.
