Yuri has feelings for Keiichiro and when she gathers the courage to confess them, she’s happy to find out the feelings are mutual! There’s just one problem: Keiichiro refuses to kiss her. Unbeknownst to her, Keiichiro is from a powerful and wealthy family with strict traditions around dating so he cannot touch her until he’s 18 years old.
At first I thought this was going to be a straight up goofy romantic comedy ant while it is funny in places, Keiichiro’s situation is sad. He’s isolated, emotionally awkward, and under a lot of pressure. Not to have too much sympathy for him as he’s a super rich kid but the antics with Yuri seem a lot less funny when you think about it. I also like that Yuri is genuine; she doesn’t care about his wealth or status. Other than that, not a bad start to a romance manga. 3 out of 5.
