August Loot Crate: “Kingdoms”

It took me WAY too long to realize the shirt had the picture in the actual shape of Link in that shot of the level in the game. I am convinced I’m going senile at an early age.

My favorite items are from Lord of the Rings. I already picked a spot in my office for the print and I can see sipping some nice cold wine out of the glass. The Nice King is very cute, but I haven’t taken the plunge to watch Aventure Time yet so it’s not having as much of an impact on me as it should. I will get around to it though!

Kal Elle Monthly: “Sherlock”

I’m not big into Sherlock but this stuff is pretty cool! This box contains:

I may not be a huge fan of the show but I am a big literature geek so I LOVE this collection of things. And it’s pretty clever how they have the Sherlock element in an actual element square. Nice pun. I’m a little shocked there wasn’t a decoder ring or something like that but I am betting those are a bitch and a half to make and would likely break pretty quick when worn too often. I like all this stuff, though!

Kal-Elle Monthly: “Spider Man”

Not being the biggest fan to Spider Man (I just never really got into it), I wasn’t as excited to get this one as others. That is, until I saw the contents. I love when this subscription includes back products. Back when I got the Game of Thrones box, the entire thing was infused with the smell of the bath salts and although it’s a product with only one use, it is nice to experience it.

But logically, something you can use over and over is preferred…

If I had to pick a favorite, I would say the headphone/change purse. It’s cute and it just happened to be something I needed!

Omakase Miku Box

I discovered Omakase at NYCC last year and thought it would be cool to give it a try. Unfortunately, Omakase is gone but I did get this box! 😀

Obviously since I went as Hatsune Miku last year as my cosplay, I geeked out at this box. I love the squishy Miku and I attached her to my bag (yes, I am 35… Don’t judge me). I gave the belt to my kid and eventually I’ll give the poster and comic as well. The shirt and stickers are mine, tho. XD

It’s a shame this company is gone but I bet they were no match for Loot Crate’s Anime box. :/ Farewell, Omakase. And thanks for this box.
