With the kids back in school I figure it’s time to get cracking as well!
These days, I have been focusing most of my writing energy on book three of the First Brood series. At my current pace, I should have a typed rough draft ready for editing before the end of the month.
Since that’s the only project I’m working on, all the others have been put on hiatus; except for reviews. I will do my level best to at least post one once a day.

When I posted about this before I only had 676 MB left. And with some diligent reading (and the wifi still off) I am now up to 681 MB free!
… And 47 downloads pending when I finally turn it back on.
But hey! It’s a start, right?
Some of these are more prepub books for me to review so they’re a little longer than those little free smutty books I’ve been reviewing. I also got some really interesting spiritual books from my free newsletters but it’s those prepubs that are taking up a lot of the space.
That wasn’t enough space to have the kindle organize books again; it still ignores me when I try to put a book into a collection. I’m gonna have to get through a LOT more books before I can download the books still in the cloud.
Thereby completely negating that progress…
I have a serious book addiction.

Also, I am starting off the year better than I’d hoped. I have no clue why, but I’ve started selling pretty decently in the UK. Hey, I’m not complaining; just noticing.
So despite Mercury being in retrograde (apparently, I am loathed by fax machines) things are starting off this year with a bang and I am super excited to see what happens next!
I have been terrible about updating but I have been so disgustingly busy. I will be updating on a normal-ish basis this month. ^_^
Winter Boot is done and ready for posting. Book three is coming along at a pace I did NOT expect. 0.0 The words are flying our of the pen. It’s amazing. I am postulating a new story for Fiction Friday (something I’ve already started… No new projects) and slowly but surely my project list is whittling down.
I dunno if you’ve been following my Twitter or Shelfari accounts but I have also been reading like all get out. I seem to be on a horror kick lately, which will have to stop soon because it’s fucking depressing. But I’ll be twice damned if the books aren’t amazing.

Ah, yes. It has been too long since I’ve written an update for you guys so here’s what Lenni has been up to.
It’s still been a short story blitz for me these days with a little editing in between. I have learned that there will be no after camp program for my daughter this summer so after turning my schedule into absolute knots to make sure I can pick her up and drop her off, I am more motivated than ever to try and make more money for my writing. Not just to make more to pay down the mortgage early but to be able to afford to pay for a nanny or a bus service to make sure my daughter is in a safe place so I can work my regular hours.
I don’t know why the school district’s camp thinks other parents work like teachers and are off in the summer. It’s very annoying. T_T
But if I’m making more money with my books, I can afford to take leave without pay if I must to get my daughter to where she needs to be or hire someone to watch her. I dunno if anyone would like to donate to the cause of getting the hell outta debt as soon as humanly possible, links to all my books are here. More will be showing up as I finish them. As I’m sure you are aware, Fiction Friday was skipped last week. This was because I straight up lost the notebook Winter Boot is in. I found it. ^_^We should be getting back on track now.

Hello everyone! Just a quick note as I’ve been busy-ish the last few days. Even though I had yesterday off from dayjob, I used the time to clean the house and watch some very strange movies I borrowed; The Wicker Tree and Uzumaki.
In writing news, I’m plugging away at finishing Winter Boot and editing Greenhouse. Both are proceeding slowly but surely. I want to make sure I get these right.

Happy Wednesday everybody! 😀 I thought I’d try and get in the habit of a weekly check in with you all to let you know how things are going writing wise since I’m sure you’re all chomping at the bit to see more work from me. 😉
First of all, Winter Boot is nearly complete. I have two, maybe three short chapters to go and I’ll get to posting them on Fiction Fridays again as soon as they’re typed and edited. I’m also working on a loose outline for a lesbian romance called “10 Summers” which will be my next FF offering.
I haven’t touched Greenhouse. You can throw rocks at me later.
I am currently working on a small collection of my erotica. When I say “small,” I mean 3-4 stories I plan to put on Amazon all together. I’m trying to match them up so they all kinda fit together but judging from what I’ve seen offered on Amazon in terms of cheap erotica, I could throw them together like mixed nuts and nobody would give a crap.
I’ve been lax with keeping you guys updated on my book reviews. I’ve posted three more (here, here, and here) and I have two more books on deck.
I have also been sketching, crocheting, and knitting. Expect pictures of my crafts to be popping up on here more often. 😉 I don’t sketch fast enough for my Deviant Art or Storm Artist galleries to be updated all the time but with more practice, I’ll get there.
Yes, I effing slipped on the ice again last week. Winter can officially fucking suck it. Please give me Spring before I kill myself. >_<
All in all, for a gal who’s only three months off demanding a divorce, I’m not doing too badly! I’m not writing more to distract from my feelings, I’ve been dealing with my feelings so well, I have more mental energy to write! If I can stop slipping on, hitting, or getting hit by anything for a few months YEARS, I’ll be in good shape here.

Hanging around and not going to work has left me a lot of time for writing and editing. I have been cleaning (the garbage men must think I’m crazy) but I am making some great headway on getting another story up for sale. 🙂
That’s pretty much all I’ve got for now. Cleaning, writing, editing… That’s just what life is right now.
I almost miss irate patrons… 😉
This was a very productive weekend. I was able to get started on an entry for an elf anthology and I was able to get the house in some sort of order so I wouldn’t be completely ashamed to have someone over. 0.0 Eventually, I would like to start Fiction Friday back up again but all things in their own time. I can’t put too much on my plate at once. I’ll end up spazzing and not finishing anything. >_<

This week has been strange and stressful. I’ve been writing but not nearly as much as I’d hoped cause with everything that’s been going on, I come home and fall into bed. But the good news is things are looking up. A friend of mine who went to the hospital is recovering well and the legal stuff dealing with Ma is really almost over. I’d give it another 60-90 days and only emotional crap will be left to deal with. I finished two reviews for Otakus and Geeks and I have another on deck.
I’m off today so I am taking this chance to just chill out and relax so my muse can get back to work. Stay well, everyone!
