Today’s Workout: Wrong Container

wp-1691433302391

We had some special online training today and I did my desk peddler during that since I didn’t wanna just sit for an hour. It was not doing the workout that left me completely confused about the software I was learning. I’m the type who has to get into the thing and use it to learn about it not just attend a training.

For lunch I was still working on the left over chicken so I didn’t take a picture. Dinner however, I had a salad but I wasn’t paying attention when I reached for the pepper; thinking it was in it’s usual spot and ended up putting basil on the tomatoes. It wasn’t bad honestly but I did have a chuckle at that.

Also, I am now down to 202.2 pounds and I’m proud of the work I’ve done so far.

Today’s Workout: New Things

wp-1691000514519

Despite the low heart points in this workout, I did spend a good deal of the day walking around to gather ingredients for a big cook this weekend. I have a whole chicken I really need to use so I can have room in my fridge.

Apparently, it was pasta day. Now that I’ve tried the Public Goods ramen on it’s own and not mixed with my usual Itaki meals, it’s pretty good! It definitely needs a protein or some kind of vegetable with it.

I did have a talk with my doctor about my numbers and she is very happy that the triglycerides are on a downward trend but has some concerns about my liver levels. She said it’s probably nothing but she wants to make sure everything is all good. Part of me doesn’t want to because I don’t want bad news but I gotta get it done and make sure I’m healthy.

Today’s Workout: Salad all day

wp-1690916544600

I had a webinar about some awesome graphic novels coming soon so, I decided to be on the peddler while I watched it. I had to slow down at a few points to actually look up and order some titles but it was a good ride.

Apparently, I was really feeling some salad today. I had some leftover lettuce and onion from yesterday’s wrap so I added some tuna to make it more filling. I also had one more burger patty from yesterday’s dinner. I chopped it up and split it with the kid. I made myself a taco salad and the child had beef with broccoli. I seem to be on a salad kick and that’s probably because I don’t want to cook much in the summer. Well, more like I want to cook but turning the oven on is the last thing I want to do. I may have to bring out the slow cooker so I have some variety.

Today’s Workout: Folded Burger?

wp-1690843273479

I’m continuing with the desk bike for now while it’s still hot. Which is funny since my office is always cold and it warms me up. Now that Camp NaNoWriMo is over, I can get more steps in my day to add to my activity.

For lunch I had leftover Chinese but for dinner, I tried my hand at that tortilla hack again this time making a burger type thing. I still overfilled it a bit but it didn’t completely fall apart like the last time I made it. And the child enjoyed it! I used a whole wheat tortilla and a few almond slices in there. Did I need bacon? No, but I wanted it and it was delicious. It’s a fun little thing to do and I can see why people do it. I bet I could make a killer breakfast this way.

Today’s Workout: Doin Okay!

wp-1690394474984

It was a good day despite being a little sleepy. And my hips kinda hurt but that’s from carrying some heavy stuff a few days ago and I just have to wait until it goes away.

I’m out of red meat so, I’m making my usual lunch with chicken this time. I’m still working my way through my ramen stash and only using half a block and if there is seasoning, just a dash of it along with the other spices. That way it’s not too salty and I don’t waste anything. For dinner, I made some pasta to go with the broccoli I baked the other day. Along with the bok choy and snow peas, I had plenty of vegetables for today. I still need to work on my protein but over the week, I did have tuna and plenty of chicken so, I think I’m doing alright.

Today’s Workout: Summer Slump

wp-1689625271730

Ugh, I am so over summer. The even in the air conditioning, the humidity is just miserable. I have a major case of the dunwannas just all the time. It’s taking way too much effort to get motivated these days.

Even though I’m not feeling motivated, I did get up early enough to make myself some breakfast. I’m gonna have to make this a regular habit as not only did I not feel faint or anything, I didn’t feel like I was starving once lunch rolled around. Same goes with dinner; which had some spinach in my normal salad to get some extra iron. I am taking a multivitamin with extra omega 3 as my doctor advised as well. All of this work isn’t just about losing weight, it’s about staying healthy as I age. The last thing I want is to end up barely mobile and on a bunch of meds.

Today’s Workout: Not bad…

wp-1689274651344

It was kinda easy to do the Wirk Peddler today. I think I need to up my speed since it’s already on the highest resistance.

It was a regular type day for food. Not every day comes along with some big revelation or anything particularly interesting. Especially since I’m doing all this writing, that’s basically all that’s on my brain these days. I’m usually on the ball with things like dusting, sweeping the floors, and laundry but I’ve fallen behind. I do have some time off coming up after Camp NaNoWriMo is over so, I’ll be able to catch up then.

Today’s Workout: So close

wp-1689014057237

It’s really frustrating me that I’m still stuck at around 202 pounds. I know slow and steady is the best way to do it but ugh! Not to mention I’m stressed the fuck out from Camp NaNoWriMo (although, the story is coming together nicely) so, this month is going to be interesting.

Yesterday, I made some pasta with diced onions and saved some for lunch and for dinner, I had a nice salad. I switched to a low sodium version of season salt since I’m trying to control my sodium intake (and honestly, not doing very well on that).

Since I’m spending a ton of time writing, I am trying to move more. It was a fairly busy day at work, I parked further away to get more steps in, and I listen to my movement reminder to make sure I’m not sitting the entire day. Stretching has been a lifesaver this month with all the time spent typing. I don’t want to end up with tendonitis again.

Today’s Workout: I’m tryin

wp-1688577719802

I’m doing Camp NaNoWriMo and it is always a frenzy in my brain when I try to do this challenge. I am trying to fit in my workouts wherever I can while I try to hit my word goals every day. Its a wild ride, let me tell ya.

If you’re on my Instagram, you probably saw the massive burger I made. I made 4 patties and saved the rest for later and picked out some of those leftovers for lunch today. I figured a salad was a good way to balance out all that meat and cheese. For dinner I must have been delusional because despite how hot it was, I decided that boiled noodles and bok choy were what I wanted to eat. I don’t know what made me think I should put the stove on for any reason but, I did. It was really good and comforting for right before I had to park it in front of the Freewrite for the rest of the night.

Today’s Workout: I finally remembered

wp-1686069343794

Going out to take a walk is starting to become routine when I’m off. I like not spending the entire day in the house and I’m slowly looking more alive. I think it’s also helping my mood, overall. I feel like I accomplished something in my day.

I have also made it a point not to sleep in too much and actually make breakfast. This had the unintended side effect of me not being hungry until dinner, where I made oven baked wings and made fried rice from the left over rice from yesterday. I managed to get the wings super crispy and juicy and I think it’s because I was able to marinate them for a couple hours; prepping in a way that isn’t as easy when I have to go to work. I guess I need to work on my time management in the future.
