Sean over at Otakus and Geeks keeps me clued in to the latest news involving impending geekdom I may enjoy. Recently, he’s told me about the impending series H+. Here’s the sneak peak:
I have to say, as someone who’s attached to her smartphone enough that people tease me about having something implanted in my brain so I could be connected all the time, I am intrigued! 😀 I can’t wait for this series to start (should be in August). Like I need another thing to distract me from writing but the episodes are only 5-12 minutes long (I hear) so I think I can spare that. 😉
The idea of technology gone wrong is hardly new but I like the track H+ is taking with it. It seems to be filmed in the same style of 24 or Lost where you are taken through the story in small chunks at a time and not necessarily in order. I enjoy that format because I can go back when the story is complete and discover new things. I live for those “Ah HA!!!” moments in my entertainment. 😉 I feel almost rewarded by sticking to the narrative.
I have high hopes for this series and I’ll keep you all posted on my thoughts as it goes on. 🙂
