Loot Anime: Blades

The pants were WAY too small for me so I’ll probably gift them or sell them. The letter opener is kinda sharp and I love it. I thought it would end up being a pen or something but this is cool too. As for Sword Art and Gin Tama? Never watched them. Cool stuff but a lot of these are fandoms I don’t really follow. I do think it’s for the best to pass them on to someone who will love them more than I can.

November Loot Crate: Magic

Every time I take the survey for a Loot Crate, I always say more journals and pens and I am happy with this one. I may not be a big Game of Thrones fan but I can dig this journal. The Q-Fig is cute and the pin is nice but the biggest win for me this time is the shirt. I am a HUGE Harry Potter fan so did my little fangirl squee when I saw it.

Overall, mostly awesome but I really don’t have room in my life for so many Q-Figs. I may have to eBay that one so a bigger fan than I can enjoy it.

Loot Anime October: Food and Cooking

I am a little relieved I didn’t get a bento with this one since I got a bento box in a previous Loot Crate. This crate is overall adorable! I love the mix of useful things and silly collectible things and I hope to see more like that in the future (even though the last thing I need are more dishes) since there are only so many places to put plushies and figures.

Overall, good choices for this box.

October Firefly Loot Crate: Wash

After Zoe, I think Wash was the crate I was looking forward to the most. I was convinced I’d get a ship in this one but nah. Ah well. That shirt is fucking priceless. I don’t quite understand the door thingie but I can give it to the kid.

As my cleaning progresses, I’ll be getting shelves to display all these figures. I’m on the fence about even removing them from the box! Of course, I’ll post pics when I have them all displayed nicely.

As for the box itself, this one is still up to par with the others. They’re a lot of fun and I love all the random stuff I’m getting. No clue what I’m gonna do with those dinos though…

October Loot Crate: Demi-Human

When I saw a watch was included, I assumed it was going to be one of those slap LED watches but nope! That’s a regular analog watch. Nicely done! It’s a good lookin gadget.

I do think I am the only person on the planet who never got into One Punch Man. Of course, I’ll give this volume a try but for some reason, I never jumped on that bandwagon. I’ve never heard of Twin Star, either. Tokyo Ghoul, on the other hand, I have been reviewing here and I do enjoy it. I haven’t seen the anime yet but it’s on my growing list of things I want to watch. Bleach I used to watch but I fell off with it and never picked it back up again. What I saw of it was cool, though.

Overall, good selection here. Well worth the subscription.

September Loot Crate: Speed

I am loving the design of that shirt. It’s very cool. I find it interesting they chose to go with the Batwing and a Gone in 60 Seconds car instead of the Batmobile. I can see how that would be an obvious choice and going with a different fandom in this case was a good idea.

I’m nervous about actually using the hood ornament because people can be assholes and someone may steal it. Since I’m working on cleaning out my office and getting nice shelves, I can display it with the Cylon ship and the various other figures I’ve gotten from these crates.

This crate fit the theme well and I’m happy with the contents! I think getting these was a great idea.

August Loot Anime Crate: Back to School

First off, of all the boxes NOT to come with pens, paper, or notebooks; I never thought this would be it. Don’t get me wrong, I am in love with the bento box, the charms and stuff are cool but seriously? Not a single pen or notebook? Way to miss the theme here, guys…

Other than that, man did my face light up at the sight of that bento box. Utena is one of my favorite franchises and I can’t wait to use it. It’s microwave safe, too! Now I just need some recipes for a box this size (it’s super small) but I’ll try and post what I come up with.

Even without any notebooks or pens (seriously guys?!), this is the first box in awhile I don’t feel the need to sell or give much of this away. I’m not so into Digimon so I’ll pass that on to a bigger fan.

August Loot Crate: Anti-Hero

I gotta start with the bank. It is super cool but tiny. I can’t imagine much money fitting in there but then again, I’m the type of person that uses those giant water jugs as a bank (don’t laugh… That change paid for a trip to Disney). I am honestly not a can of Archer but the Q-fig and socks are very awesome. It’s a shame Suicide Squad is why all this Harley stuff is coming out since I’ve loved her character since Batman: The Animated Series. Luckily, the cartoon is what the figure is based on; not the recent movie.

All in all? Not a bad box. I’m just a little shocked there weren’t more items.

Finally a journal! Not that I need any more blank books in my life but, yay! Zoe was one of my favorite characters in this series/movie so I was super excited for a crate centered around her.

Although I’m partial to the journal, this is still my favorite crate from this series so far. Once I get my office cleaned up the way I want, I’m gonna put shelves up to display all these awesome figures.

Probably still in the boxes… Because I’m weird.

Next month’s box is supposed to be back to school themed so I’m hoping for journals or cool pens!
